9/22: September Pack Meeting
- Who: All Pack 8 Scouts & Parents
- What: Monthly Pack Meeting
- When: 6pm – 7pm (note the earlier start!)
- Where: Mallinckrodt Park Pavilion (note location change!)
10/2: Pack Hike
- Who: All Pack 8 Scouts & family members, no signup, just show up and hike
- What: A 1.5 to 2 mile hike
- When: 9am-10am
- Where: The Grove, 1421 Milwaukee Ave, Glenview, IL 60025
10/3: Cubmobile Races
- Who: All Pack 8 Scouts (must be registered!)
- What: Soap-box style racing on a gentle hill
- When: Multiple slots between 8am and 11am. Space is limited to 18 riders, but we can add slots. Please use the SUG Wait List.
- Where: Evanston Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave, Evanston

10/16: NEIC Boo Camp
- Who: All Pack 8 Scouts and siblings
- What: Day Camp that combines Halloween fun with Scouting adventure
- When: Multiple sessions Saturday 10/16, 9am to 5pm
- Where: Camp Okarro

- This is a Council run event with individual sign-ups
- Fees: Scouts & siblings 5 years and up: $15; siblings 3-5 years $10; siblings under 3 free
10/20: October Pack Meeting
- Who: All Pack 8 Scouts & Parents
- What: Monthly Pack Meeting
- When: 6pm – 7pm

10/22-10/24: Fall Campout
- Who: All Pack 8 Scouts & Families
- What: Camping! More information soon!
- When: Friday 6pm October 22nd through Sunday 12pm October 24th
- Arrive Friday PM or Saturday AM
- Camp-under option available
- Camp-at-home option available
- Where: Pratt’s Wayne Woods Forest Preserve, Powis Road south of Stearns Road Wayne, IL
